Stories
This fiction is all fanfiction, yet in the great majority of it I’ve lifted the characters I write about from their original xianxia setting and situated them in our contemporary world. Thus it is that most of my stories are comprehensible without knowledge of my source material—and thus it is that the project of this site is even viable. That project, of course, is to try to entice you—dear Reader of the exquisite taste who may not know my fandom or care for any fandom—yet to give my work a try. So if any of the notes below tempt you to click forward to the stories they introduce, then please: give my work a try. ♡
Sampler
things incarnate: The story that gives its title to this site contains both! an incestuous sex scene and! a list of names for God. Not gonna lie: I’m pretty proud. ^_^
Bavarian Gentians: A babysitter/teen—or rather, a teen/babysitter (top/bottom)—fantasia titled after D. H. Lawrence’s poem. A half-line by Keats, too, makes an unironic appearance. Yes, it’s the one you’re thinking of.
Confession: Another fantasia, priest/teen this time. I write a lot of them, these things I then call fantasias. I also write a lot of teens who bear little resemblance to any real teens walking the real earth.
Conversations in Therapy: I went to therapy for twenty years and all I got was this story. >_<
The Tale of Psyche: This 11,000–word retelling of the story of Psyche is a romp. The Emacs/Vim editor war features largely, as does a dragon’s cock. Deities discuss TV Tropes. The fourth wall is shattered. Throughout the thing, Jesus refuses to have been born yet. Rude.
the son and the father: In which I write a magical redemptive ass. Really. No, really.
their royal profusion: People call prose purple when they find it overblown; I call this story’s opening purple for a more literal reason.
Vermont: I’d tell you, dear Reader, that I was aiming to make you splodefromcute! as you read this, but that would be a lie: the cuteness just happened with no help from me. I—she intoned—am but the vessel.
